Porsche recalling 2012 911 Carrera S over possible fuel leak

,

2012 Porsche 911 Carrera S vehicles manufactured between October 26th, 2011 through January 24, 2012 are being issued  a recall due to a possible fuel line failure.
Interference between a coolant line and a fuel line can cause the fuel line to become disconnected at the quick connector. If the fuel line gets disconnected, a fuel leak can occur causing the engine to stall and increasing the risk of a crash. The fuel leak can also increase the risk of a fire.
A total of 1,232 vehicles are being recalled and owners will be notified starting in April. If you own a 2012 Porsche Carrera S, you can participate in the recall by contacting Porsche at 1-800-767-7243 to schedule an appointment and have the fuel line replaced.
